We returned to winning ways again this week with a 14 - 0 victory against bottom of the league Barrow. To be fair to Barrow they didn't play too badly, but I think we had woken up after last weeks shock against Hinckley and started to play some of the football we all know we can play. It took us a while to get off the mark with something like 14 chances before we eventually bagged one mid way through the first half. We then proceeded with a little more luck and managed to make it 5 - 0 at the interval. We now had our tails up and the advantage of playing down the slight hill and raced away to score a further 9 goals in the second half. The goals wew scored by Eve(6), Jade (5), Jess, Remy and Shanice. It was a good return to form for the girls and we played something like we can. Our attitudes were much better and we appeared to have that desire to win back in our game, let's hope we can carry this through into the all important league matches we've got coming up.
Player of the match, as voted by the parents, was Eve.
