Hi All - let's get a large contingent from Oadby and Wigston Girls to this game. The aim of this is to put girls football firmly on the map. Remember for every ticket purchased (except U8s) we as a club get a £1 back.
The Leicester City and County Girls Football League have “Adopted” the Leicester City v Ipswich Town fixture on Saturday 17th November 2012 to showcase and promote girls and ladies football in Leicestershire and Rutland. We have secured the following matchday experiences for the league: a) Player Escort b) Guard of Honour c) Shake the shirt d) Half-time Parade e) Crossbar Challenge f) More details to be confirmed We now need as many girls as possible to attend the game to showcase and promote girls and ladies football in Leicestershire and Rutland. How Each club to nominate players to take part in the above matchday experiences – (1 player per club for Player Escort and Guard of honour (U12 or below) for the crossbar challenge, players need to be u14 or over.
ALL NOMINATIONS TO BE SENT TO ANDREW SCOTT (Andrew.Scott@logica.com) In order to take part, each player will need to purchase tickets (unless they are a season ticket holder). Ticket prices are: - (Grassroots Prices) Adults £21, Under 18s £8, Under 12s £4 and Under 8s Free. – All tickets are the Marks Electrical Family Stand. Please use your clubs existing Grassroots Client Reference to purchase tickets from the ticket office. If you are not registered for grassroots please contact Louise McConnell at LCFC (Louise.McConnell@lcfc.co.uk) and get registered. As an indication of numbers expected, please can you fully promote and advertise this match throughout your club.
