On a cold February morning, on a muddy pitch, Under 15 Dynamo moved into the next round of the League Cup with a 3-1 victory at Braunstone Diamonds.
The goal-less first half was fairly equal, although a little more composure in front of goal would have caused the Braunstone keeper some serious problems.
The deadlock was broken within seconds of the re-start when Emily burst through the Braunstone team to score. Braunstone rallied and some lacklustre defending soon saw an equaliser. The introduction of Kayleigh to the attack soon produced dividends as a composed finnish once again saw the ball in the back of the Braunstone net. With the game ebbing and flowing it was a welcome sight to see Lauren secure the game with 15 minutes remaining when she produced and unsaveable shot to score the goal her performance deserved.
Final result 3-1 win to Oadby & Wigston and a place in the second round of the League Cup.
