The Snipers gained their first League win of the season in a hard fought victory over Braunstone Diamonds. Debuts for the Billenness twins Emma and Kelly gave the Snipers a solid looking midfield. Goals from Izzy Bentley and Heather Stewart kept the game even at 2 -2 at half time. In the second half the Snipers eventually took control with goals from Bentley (2) completing her hat trick and a first goal for Kelly Billenness. The Diamonds scored a late consolation to make the score 5 -3 to the Snipers.
