18/10/2012 - Latest NewsCounty Cup Semi finals here we come..... | A convincing 2-1 win on Sunday sees the U12's through to the semi final of the County Cup. In a close fought game we went in at half time 0-0. Maisie having been called into action to make a good save.
After the break and straight from the kick off Rhea went on one of her great runs to slot home a great finish.
Thurmaston pushed hard for the equaliser which they eventually got.
Fortunately we went straight down after the kick off and Rhea scored her second of the game. The defence of Annabel and Isobel both had outstanding games to keep it to 2-1. The whole team fought well but notably Rhea for her goals and the defence deserve special mentions. |
