The second league game of the season saw the Dynamos looking to improve on last weeks performance and they did just that.
A dominating first half began with the first goal coming after only 3 minutes. A good ball in from Megan, knocked on by Emma to Sam who had no trouble placing it in the back of the net. Shots on goal by Megan and Sam followed soon after putting more pressure on Marlborough Rovers' goalkeeper. A great turn by Emma saw another shot on goal by the Dynamos and a convincing strike by Courtney saw Marlborough Rovers goalkeeper just managing to send it wide. At the other end Amy proved her worth by making the first great save to keep the score at 1-0. The next few minutes saw more excitement as some fantastic play by Olivia resulted in the ball rebounding off the post to an eager Megan who easily made the score 2-0. A brilliant throw in by Courtney was well controlled by Megan who scored again to make it a convincing 3-0. Kelsey's skill with the ball taking it through 2 defenders with an accurate pass to Megan took the score to 4-0 with an elated Megan gaining her first hat-trick. More pressure from the Dynamos came from some excellent football by Olivia forcing the opposition to kick the ball out of play. Another great ball from Abby into Courtney with a shot on goal sent just above the bar. At this point Marlborough Rovers picked up their game but it wasn't enough to prevent some fantastic football by Megan and Sam feeding the ball to Abby who scored a great goal to make the score 5-0. Despite determined defending by Olivia, a good run by Marlborough Rovers resulted in a goal for the opposition taking the score to 5-1 quickly followed by a confident volley to make it 5-2. The ball was soon taken into the Dynamos half with a shot by Abby hitting the top corner with a brave effort by the opposing goalkeeper resulting in a injury forcing a substitute just before half time.
The second half began with shots on goal coming from Emma and Courtney forcing Marlborough Rovers to pick up their game once again. Unfortunately this didn't pay off with a Marlborough Rovers defender scoring an own goal from a great ball in by Sam to take the score to 6-2 which was to be the final score. The game finished by some good team play by Abby and Kelsey who defended well to prevent Marlborough Rovers scoring in the final minutes with consistent goalkeeping from Amy.

Kelsey had a superb game and won the well deserved Player of the Match.
