First game of the season in a 7v7 format for our under 10s and a great game was played against Barrow Town.
After a rocky first 10 minutes the girls dug deep and played some really good football.
Lois and Cora acted as a powerhouse duo in defense, Lila covered loads of ground gaining us some valuable corners and alongside Tahlia both had some great shots at goal. Emilia and Fern made some great saves as goalies and although not their first preference of position lent in and made it hard for Barrow.
After the game both teams took part in a penalty shootout for a bit of fun and was a nice way to end the game!
A great game played by all with lots for Arron and Ash to work on with the girls in training!
