The Vixens put in another strong team performance on a windy evening in their midweek league fixture against Barrow Town. Despite the tricky conditions, the girls showed great composure, control, and team spirit from start to finish.

The Vixens started with plenty of energy and looked to play their passing game, though the swirling wind made the game challenging at times. Even so, they dominated possession and stayed patient. After settling into the rhythm of the game, they began to move the ball with confidence and create chances. Four well-taken goals saw them take a commanding lead into half-time.

The second half saw the Vixens step up another gear. They won every challenge, supported each other brilliantly, and played some excellent football. Another four goals followed, rounding off an impressive 8-0 victory. Credit also goes to the defence and goalkeeper, who stayed focused throughout and helped secure a well-earned clean sheet.

With the game under control, the coaches took the chance to mix things up—playing several players out of position to test their versatility. The girls embraced the challenge and continued to impress across the pitch.

🏆Player of the Match was Caoimhe – A standout display full of energy, winning every ball and driving the team forward.

Another great all-round performance from the Vixens—well done, girls! 👏
