O&W U13 Vixens vs Nuneaton Borough Demons

95

Our second league game of the season saw us travel away to Nuneaton Borough Demons, and the girls put in another fantastic performance, coming away with a brilliant 5–2 win.

The day brought a few challenges – with some players unavailable at kick-off and a brand-new formation introduced on the spot – but the team rose to the occasion superbly. Despite little time to adjust, they showed great adaptability and commitment, proving once again how quickly they’re learning and growing together.

The playing surface wasn’t the easiest, with long grass and some uneven patches, but the girls didn’t let that affect them. Instead, they got stuck in, worked hard for each other, and played some exciting football.

Navae opened the scoring with a composed finish, before Rocket doubled our lead. Sisi then stole the show with a fantastic hat trick, securing the win in style. Her all-round performance earned her the Parents’ Player of the Match award – thoroughly deserved! 🏆

This 5–2 victory means another three points on the board and plenty of confidence to take into the next game. With more time to work on the new formation in training, there’s no doubt this squad will continue to go from strength to strength.
