Today saw us travel to Ashby Ivanhoe FC for an early kickoff. This was the first time we have played Ashby so it was nice to play against new players and meet new coaches
The game was scrappy from start to finish, the passing not quite as good as usual but the girls all dug deep and gave 100% throughout the match. Some very good saves from our keeper and clinical finishing on a very hard uneven pitch.
A big shout out to Ashby, who looked after us well and made it a good battle, both set of parents were fantastic in supporting the 2 teams, as we continued our good run during this block of fixtures ⚽️⚽️👊
