We got off to a slow start today, taking 10/15 minutes to find our rhythm but once we settled in, the game became much more evenly matched, with both teams battling hard across the pitch.
After an early period of play that was mostly one-sided, the girls showed great determination to fight back and create some good attacking moments. There were plenty of positives to take away, as well as a few areas to focus on in training this week.
The team’s effort and teamwork continued to grow as the match went on, showing real progress and spirit.
Girl of the Game today was Lola – for her constant communication on the pitch and excellent encouragement of her teammates.
