The Vixens hosted Loughborough Foxes Royals this weekend in very windy conditions, which made it difficult for both teams to play their usual football. Despite the blustery weather, the girls showed great determination and teamwork throughout the match.
There were plenty of exciting moments, with the Vixens hitting the bar, the post, and seeing several efforts go just wide before finally finding their rhythm. Once they managed to break down the opposition’s defence, the goals started to flow.
Sisi was in fantastic form, netting a brilliant hat trick, while Ronnie and Lyra each added a goal of their own to secure a strong 5–2 win. Ronnie’s hard work and commitment throughout the game earned her the Player of the Match, as chosen by the parents. 🏆
A great team effort all round, showing resilience, patience, and plenty of attacking flair despite the challenging conditions.
